The Best Way to Make Your Pans Like New Again
My favorite cleaning tip for the kitchen! When you want your pots, pans and cookie sheets always looking their best, do this.
The best way to clean stubborn stuck-on food, think melted cheese and dried-over-time oils that leave a dark brown discoloration, is surprisingly easy.
- Wet the pan.
- Sprinkle some Bar Keeper’s Friend powder on it.
- Scrub with a loosely crinkled-up piece of aluminum foil. The aluminum foil will compress with elbow grease, so just use that piece until you find its effectiveness decreases. Then start with a new piece of foil until you are pleased with the result.
- Rinse well and wash thoroughly with warm soapy water.
- Voila! Beautiful cooking will be yours once again!
This is the most effective way to make your cookware look almost new again. Please note this is only for stainless steel and aluminum surfaces.
