About Us

For more than two decades, New York's Little Elves has applied the platinum standard to everything we touch, in turn earning the trust of the metropolitan area's most exclusive and demanding clients. Due to this level of professionalism and attention, we were proudly named one of the 5,000 fastest growing private companies in America by Inc. Magazine three years in a row and recognized as "Best House Cleaner" by New York Magazine. We believe that your property, your possessions and your privacy should be treated with the utmost integrity, and only hire legal, expert and dedicated cleaning professionals who have undergone extensive, ongoing training.

About Our Employees

All our employees are covered by Workman's Compensation. Many speak English and if English is not a first language, they are encouraged to attend classes to improve their English speaking ability. We offer our employees a 401 K retirement plan, health insurance and higher salaries than this industry normally provides. We take care of our employees as a family and they in turn take care of our clients' properties as if they were our own. We have very little turn-over, and many employees have been with us for more than five+ years.

Our Pledge

New York's Little Elves pledges to provide you with the same level of platinum service that we have been delivering to discriminating clients for more than twenty years. Our team goes through rigorous, ongoing training to ensure that the highest quality standards are continuously perfected and that your expectations are constantly exceeded. When it comes to your residence or office, we know that second best just won't cut it. At New York's Little Elves, we vow to provide you and your clients with the very best.

Methodology

We provide free cleaning estimates to assess your needs and take note of special surfaces that may require extra-special attention. We then hand pick your cleaners to ensure you have the appropriate cleaning team. Cleaning supplies specific to your needs are packed, (or a list of appropriate cleaning supplies will be supplied for you to furnish) and delivered to your residence with the cleaning team. Any cleaning job requiring more than two cleaners will have a supervisor. The supervisor organizes and prioritizes the team and its objectives and works alongside the cleaning crew for maximum efficiency. All post-construction cleanings and four-seasons cleanings are visited by our Director of Quality Control to ensure the platinum standard.

We are familiar with difficult and delicate materials and how to clean them. Materials such as marbles, exotic woods, hand-made, delicate wall coverings, textured glass and other rare and precious materials are handled appropriately, even with artist's gloves and Q-tips.

Company Bios
Barbara Roche Fierman

Founder, CEO and Chief Elf
Barbara founded New York's Little Elves more than 30 years ago when, as a single mother in the 1970s, she took on odd cleaning jobs for personal acquaintances. Upon deciding to earn her Master's in Special Education (where she worked with at-risk youth, adult prison populations and handicapped toddlers), she turned her now thriving business over to a former nanny before taking it back and turning New York's Little Elves into the company it is today.

Barbara is exemplary in the standards she sets and the way in which she leads her employees to fulfill the needs of our business, clients and fellow employees. Her strong spirit, commitment to excellence and hard work, experience as a single mother and understanding of all segments of society uniquely positioned her to build New York's Little Elves into the esteemed company that it is today.

Sabrina Fierman Cusin

Vice President, Business Development
Barbara's daughter Sabrina joined the Elves in 2001, bringing with her more than 10 years of experience in business management, development, administration and event planning. She now provides general oversight of the business by overseeing daily operations and providing direction for new avenues of growth. Dedicated to expanding and diversifying the company's client base, Sabrina is determined to provide increasing opportunities to her customers and her employees.
